Im the type of reader to start two or three books at the same time only to leave one unread for months or to completely dive into one the next. This is my March and late February reads.
Truly Devious by Maureen Jhonson
Truly Devious is about a boarding school following a teen true crime fan Stevie Bell. Stevie, a teen obsessed with researching crimes, is accepted into an elite boarding school, where students have the opportunity to research their unique interests.
I picked this book up in the library not too long ago, It had been on my TBR (to be read) for a couple months now and I had heard really good things about it. So I picked it up and decided to finally read it. And so far I love it the mystery and suspense of the book keep me intrigued. Steve reminds me of me in a scene where we both love true crime and I feel like I can put myself into Stevie’s shoes.
Verity by Colleen Hoover
Verity focuses on the life of Lowen Ashleigh, a young writer living in New York City struggling for money and not really living the life she envisioned. One day she bumps into a man who will change her life forever in more ways than one.
This book came highly recommended to me by one of my close friends, she had a copy so she lent it to me and I must say I’m hooked. The book opens so abruptly that it had me from the get-go. So far the book is dramatic and suspenseful. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
