When people run to the pharmacy to get some medication it’s becoming very difficult to get their hands on it. Specifically, it’s happening in Southern California to pick up flu and cold medicine that are coming to empty shelves. Since so many people are getting the cold and flu because flu season is arriving. A reporter when to several stores in Burbank to find some children’s cold remedies but the finding was challenging. An employee of a pharmacy told people they last received a shipment of children’s Tylenol a few weeks ago and hadn’t expected it. When people check on Amazon to relieve children Tylenol takes around two weeks to wait for it. The shortage is caused by so many people getting viruses such as COVID, RSV, and FLU unable to ship the shipment to places. Some other shortages are Motrin and Tylenol which is very tough to find. Even with still-growing numbers COVID-19 is continuing and is still happening. Not only is medication running out but also the hospitals and clinics are overpopulated due to the sickness.
