The Track & Field Season has a big season coming up, and they are participating in pre-season meets, preparing for the upcoming 2026 Track & Field season.
El Diamante Freshman Alejandro Zegarra had this to say about the preseason “I like having a good experience with track, I had a good experience with Cross Country, I’m hoping Track is the same”.
Some runners have stated goals for this season. El Diamante Sophomore Danai said this: “I would like to get at least a 59 this season for the 400m & under 6 minutes for the 1600m”.
The El Diamante Track & Field coaching staff received praise from their athletes. Diego Hachee said this about the coaches: “Very encouraging with words of encouragement and always trying to uplift their athletes, and they have very good workouts”.

Troy Ralls, an El Diamante Junior, mentioned that El Diamante Senior Adolfo Ibarra would always uplift him and push him forward at practice. “He always has positive feedback for me that helps me improve during the pre-season”.
The El Diamante team is ready for this upcoming season, which is looking strong this year.
