“Carpe diem” is Mr. Caffee’s slogan for his classes. That slogan is something all students of his class should use in their everyday lives because it means “seize the day”. Mr. Caffee is a very energetic person who loves being involved in sports, specifically soccer. He loves his students, loves the staff, and the school’s amazing school spirit.
Something about Mr. Caffee is that this is his first year teaching at El Diamante. He’s been in the teaching business for two years, his first year being at a continuation school in Hanford. He’s also an alumnus, meaning he graduated from our school in 2014! Mr. Caffee attended the College of the Sequoias (COS) for two years and then transferred to Fresno State. In Fresno, he got his Bachelor’s degree and then attended Fresno Pacific University where Caffee received his teaching credential.
He has also been on various trips in his life so far, was on a broadcast for the school he used to attend, and absolutely loves the outdoors. He has been hiking on various trails and doing many other outdoor activities. I advise anyone reading this to go ask Mr. Caffee some questions about anything you are interested in him, he would be more than happy to share stories about any trips he’s been on.
To sum up this article about this amazing teacher, he is single-handedly the best junior history teacher you can ask for (he also never assigns homework!)
